Professional Clock Restoration

servicing Wales, West of England and the rest of the UK

Shop Policies and background

Please Take a moment to read through the shop policies and background before purchasing from us:

These clocks are professionally restored by the MJM restoration business. All the clocks are treated to the same professional standard whether they are high value antiques clocks or vintage electrical clocks, preserving as much as possible of the original - in particular the hands, which if replaced, not only affects the aesthetic look, but also any value.

One of the most difficult parts of restoration is to re-collet the hands to fit modern quartz movements. The cases are taken apart and cleaned, polished and/or lacquered as necessary. In short, there is no skimping on time or effort in order to make sure the clocks are at their best. This also applies to the postage and packaging - the clocks are always very well packaged and sent registered and insured against loss.
All clocks come with a 1 year guarantee.

Returns and exchange details

All items may be returned within 14 days for any reason for a refund (refund will exclude the cost of the postage and packaging).

Please be aware that the clocks are aged and as such will have some natural wear & tear (for example: scuff marks, small scratches, slight discolouration etc). If there is any significant damage, it will be noted in the item's description. The colours may not look exactly the same in the photos as they do in reality; this may be due to the monitor being used to view them, or the lighting in the photos. We try to make sure the photos match the clock as closely as possible.

Payment
We accept payments by credit & debit cards, and PayPal. Once you have made a purchase, please make your payment within 3 days (72 hours). If payment is not received by this time, we reserve the right to cancel the order and re-list the item. If however you have any problems, Contact Us and we shall endeavour to help you.

Delivery

  • We are based in Wales in the U.K, and have listed items with delivery to the U.K - if however, you wish to know how much it would cost to ship elsewhere, just ask, so we can calculate shipping for you.
  • The packaging is intended to be very secure - double boxed and, where necessary, using hardboard to give maximum protection. Postage includes the price to send with tracking, for both your peace of mind and ours.

Additional policies and FAQs

  • The 1 year guarantee on all clocks refers to the movement in the clock, should it be faulty, stop working properly or at all, or break unexpectedly. It does NOT cover any accidental or deliberate damage done.
  • The clocks have been photographed to the best of our ability, and should accurately represent the item. We apologise if you can see anyone in the glass, it's pretty hard to take decent photos of clocks without reflections! If however you wish to have more photos or details of the item(s) then you can Contact Us.
